Stanmore

I visited Stanmore on September 19, 2015 as part of London Openhouse -- my first visit since the 21st birthday party of a college friend in 1969!
I was part of a walking tour of "Modernism in Metroland" led by Josh with more information on his excellent website
	The tour started at Stanmore Underground Station where there is parking.
The first stop was in Kerry Avenue



At the top of the road are two houses which were purpose built no 14 (below left) no 16 (below right and next row) where the owners invited us into the grounds -- and even parts of the house




Then on to Valencia Road




Just off Valencia Road in Aran Drive we stopped to look at these flats
We then made a walk through Broadway and up Stanmore Hill to Aylmer Close
