Lilliput Lane's "The Sidings" is mainly based on The Wagons at Enthorpe Station House, Nr Middleton on the Wolds Driffield YO25 9DG 01377 217342

This is accomodation not a restaurant and does not have the signals shown on the model.

Gordon Williamson suggests: "I think you will find The Sidings is in fact based on The Sidings Hotel & Restaurant, Station Lane, Shipton By Beningbrough, York YO30 1BT which is obviously a restaurant like the model and has the signals on the model at the entrance to the car park in reality"

Whilst that may be overstating the case it's possible the name, restaurant chairs and signals may have been inspired by the Sidings Restauarant at Shipton. Location
